The Road to Salute 52’

After much enjoyment making an Aliens participation game for the Wargames circuit this year I’ve really wanted to up my game and attend Salute 52’ with a great participation to help spread my love for sci-fi war films!

My second favourite sci-fi film is easily Starship Troopers and what could be more exciting than having hundreds of bugs attacking a lonely outpost whilst the infantry lay down some serious fire as they awaiting their doom/rescue.

3-D printing shops are a popular thing now and after some deep diving, I have found that the sculptor “Papsikel” does an absolutely stunning range of mobile infantry and arachnid 3-D models. I quickly found a great 3d printer on Etsy who I frantically messaged and got my first order in.

And so it begins…

The road to Salute is going to be long and likely treacherous on the wallet but totally worth it and the game is also hopefully going to be enjoyable for all participants.
