RECON in force (Pudsey Wargames Show 2024)

The “Bug Hunt” participation game was finally unleased at Pudsey in Leeds to a great welcome.

I had a thoroughly good time playing through the participation games with loads of different players. A very excitable group of younger players graced the table first and it became clear that they had never seen Starship Troopers, however they took it all in their stride and really enjoyed the theatrics and drama of the game. One of them even squealed with excitement when I swooped in with the Bug flyers and decapitated half his squad.! It was quite a nice gory fun moment.

I also got the chance spoke to loads of traders and other gamers and had some really insightful honest conversations about making their hobby their job and its given me some great thoughts for the future.
